Salon Des Bananes is an avant-garde art exhibition space dedicated to immersive and experiential art exhibits.

Home also to the Loen.Design Studio, the Salon Des Bananes is a unique opportunity for guests to experience interactive art installations created by artist, Rich Loen. You can peek in at our large Woodwork, Metalwork and Welding shop and maybe catch a glimpse of some new works in progress.

Visitors to Salon Des Bananes can expect to experience immersive and experiential art exhibitions in a one-of-a-kind space.

Event Details

Readers are invited to attend the exhibition on either Saturday November 16th or Sunday November 17th from 11:00am – 5:00pm with a timeslot reservation, which can be made through the Eventbrite Exhibition Event Page . Readers are also welcome to attend the Friday night vernissage, taking place on November 15th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm – tickets are required in order to attend, and can be found on the Eventbrite Vernissage Event Page.

Event Description

‘Peeking In’ is a special exhibit event that will allow a select group of people to come into the newly minted exhibition and experimental gallery space at Loen.Design Studio.

This inaugural exhibition event showcases intriguing works by exceptional and visionary artists renowned for their mastery of their chosen mediums, along with a selection of Rich Loen’s engaging and playful pop-art pieces. Visitors can finally peek in and explore this one-of-a-kind studio gallery.

We’d really like you to join us for this event. We promise there will be great art, lively conversations, and even food and drinks on Friday! And some other cool stuff too!

Artist Bio

I am an award-winning artist of Metis descent living in Toronto, Canada. My favorite things to paint are vintage scenes, especially in the winter, from the early part of the 20th century. I have paintings in many private collections in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. I’m also happy to do commissions.

Maciek Peter Kozlowski

Artist Bio

Maciek “Magic” Peter Kozlowski is an acclaimed artist and art collector, celebrated for his ability to evoke joy through diverse artistic expressions. A recipient of numerous international awards, including the U.K. Artist of the Year (2017), Maciek’s work spans various styles such as abstracts, florals, landscapes, and portraits. Continuously pushing boundaries, he crafts distinct collections of original pieces and limited edition prints that invite you to experience the delight of discovering your next cherished artwork.

Lori Mirabelli

Artist Bio

Her local art for sale is comprised of strong, bold lines, and geometric form that is coupled with an emphasis on space. Lori has had a love for mid-century modern design from a young age and her work reflects this. She aspires to remind us of the meaning behind the mid century modern design movement.

About Rich

Rich Loen is a mixed-media artist specializing in large-scale pop-art and installation works inspired by data-science. His pieces are designed to evoke joy through whimsy, imagination, and the ability to playfully or thoughtfully engage with the piece itself. He works largely in wood and metal, incorporating mechanical moving parts and even lighting.
